Hi teachers!! welcome to this amazing blog, the main goal is to make you´ll contextualize about storytelling so you can apply it in the classroom using tools, ideas, and methods in order to create a good environment for primary teachers. My blog will include three theories that defend de use of storytelling to study a second language will be explained and analyzed by mind map, videos, images, and podcast audio.
My blog is divided into four units:
UNIT-1: will be called WHY STORIES? this first unit is intended to show you´ll the different benefits of using stories in the English classroom.
UNIT-2: THEORETICAL BASES: through different theories and studies, it will be explained how stories motivate the students during the English lessons and how it helps them understand and remember the new language they are studying.
UNIT-3: HOW TO DO IT?: here you will be able to prepare a class including stories.
UNIT-4: Beautiful stories: Finally, in this section, I will show the different types of stories that can be used during an English lesson, the different outcomes each one has, and what type of activity works better with the stories.
